Franklin Joins Milwaukee Gateway Aerotropolis Development Group

Franklin has signed on to become the 8th municipality in the greater Milwaukee area to pass resolutions that allow the city to join the Milwaukee Gateway Aerotropolis Corporation, a nonprofit corporation organized to formally plan for the development of the Milwaukee area aerotropolis. Franklin joins Cudahy, Greendale, Greenfield, Milwaukee, Oak Creek, St. Francis, and South Milwaukee in this economic development effort.

Launch Of The GTM Discount Card

The area surrounding the airport, which has been branded the Gateway to Milwaukee, has launched a Gateway Discount Card so smart shoppers can save at their favorite restaurants, hotels, and other businesses. Businesses are providing special offers for products and services (or sometimes free giveaways) so that consumers can enjoy their preferred hangouts or try new places.
FREE cards can be obtained by going to gatewaytomilwaukee.com and clicking on “The Gateway Card”. The lists of participating businesses and discounts can also be found on the website and are updated weekly.
