WisDOT will use special lettings for projects using funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
Special lettings are currently scheduled for:
* April 28, 2009
* May 27, 2009
* June 23, 2009
The special lettings will include state and local projects. The state projects have been scheduled for each letting. The local projects will be scheduled as they are approved.
The advertisement for the April 28 letting will be on March 31. Future ad dates will be published as they are established.
Contractors interested in obtaining plans and proposals must submit a DT1633 form. The automatic CD distribution will NOT apply to the special lettings.
Contractors interested in bidding on an economic recovery project must follow the normal prequalification process. Bidding requests must also be submitted on the DT1633 form.
The normal deadlines and bid opening times will apply to the special lettings.
