The Port of Milwaukee transports commodities by ocean ship, lake ship, river barge, rail and truck. The Union Pacific Railroad and the Canadian Pacific Railway serve the port on a daily basis. Intermodal containers are shipped via Canada. A monthly inbound ship service from Europe is available for imports. The Port has immediate interstate access to I-794 and I-94 making Milwaukee the ideal place for business distribution.
